Philadelphia to Newark International Airport

I am travelling to Sweden with a girl%26#39;s soccer team this summer. We are leaving from Newark and flying to Gothenburg. What is the cheapest and most convenient way for a group of 30 to travel from Philly to Newark International Airport?

I would also love any travel tips from anyone who has attended the Gothia Cup in Sweden. Thank you!!!

I can%26#39;t give you a definitive answer, but I would consider a charter bus. You would get door-to-door service at a pick-up point of your choice, and they tend to be pretty economical. One such company is David Thomas Tours (www.davidthomastours.com) that offfers a variety of bus types and sizes, but you can certainly get competive bids over the phone.

You could use regional rail( Septa to Trenton, then NJ Transit to Newark airport), but changing trains would be a hassle with 30 people.

Thanks for the advice- a chartered bus sounds like the best way to go.

You could also drive to Trenton or Hamilton Stations ( 95 to Route 1) and catch a NJ Transit train. There is a Newark International Airport stop.

I did this for a group trip I organized. Go with the chartered bus. Trying to shepherd 30 people on the train or other transit is not the way to start a trip, especially with luggage! And split over 30 plus people, the bus cost should be pretty reasonable. I think back in 02 it was about $700 each way including a tip for a VERY nicely appointed bus (you can do School Bus style for much less).
