Clubs in Philly
2nd Heather%26#39;s suggestions, especially Continental Midtown.
The vibe at the other Continental (2nd %26amp; Market) is still good, but not quite the same.
What are you looking for? Live music, dressy, casual, low rent but heppenin%26#39;? There%26#39;s many choices.
We%26#39;re looking for a place you can get bottle service, and the dress code is trendy and the crowd around 25yr olds and up. thanks for the suggestions and more would be appreciated!!!!
If you want bottle service, I think you may be better off in Atlantic City.
There is definitely no need to go to AC for good bottle service. You might not be able to get a table a Public House, since it is short notice. I would do Denim then Mansion for afterhours if you want bottle service. Another good spot is 32 degrees, but I think Rittenhouse Square has a much better scene than Old City.
Thats great! We%26#39;re actually staying in the Rittenhouse Square area. We have a couple of restaurants booked to start out the night, 21 and i forget the other one ';upstairs'; something??? How are those places????
Also, where a good place for some shopping during the day???
One more thing..... we%26#39;re going to the eagles game on Sunday. can u get to the stadium by subway????
You can definitely go to the Eagles by subway- in fact, it is the best way to go from town. Go to Broad Street (Broad %26amp; Walnut is your best bet), and take a southbound train to Pattison Avenue (end of the line). You will need exact change- fare is $2.00/person each way (dollar bills are OK). Just follow anyone wearing green :) BTW, I suggest you NOT wear another team%26#39;s colors. Just a friendly warning as the fans here can be, well, enthusiastic... :)
I am guessing the restaurants you are referring to are Upstares at Varalli (very good Northern Italian cuisine that boasts an excellent view of Avenue of the Arts) and maybe Twenty21 at 20th and Market? If that is the place, my husband goes there for business client lunches/dinners quite a bit and likes it. It isn%26#39;t the best food in the city, but he has enjoyed it. He was just telling me, actually, that apparently during October they are hosting beer tastings where they are pouring 5 beers (in small quanities) for something like $20. Has a great outdoor bar if the weather cooperates. Let us know if you have additional questions. Good luck!
