Italian Market

My family and I will be in Philly the Monday before Thanksgiving. I have read that the italian market is closed on Monday%26#39;s. Do you think that they will be open since it is so close to the holiday? We are only p0assing thru and would love to see it.

The reading terminal market should be open however, if you need to do a little shopping..

Some vendors are open on Mondays, including two of my favorites, DiBruno Bros. and Isgro%26#39;s Pastry. However, Fante%26#39;s (cookware) is usually closed on Mondays as are most of the produce vendors. You might go to the Italian Market website, phillyitalianmarket.com, and check various vendors to see who will be open. Please note than when you go to that website some of the vendors have direct links to their own websites and others (like Isgro%26#39;s) don%26#39;t, even though they have their own websites.

If you go to the market on a Monday it won%26#39;t have the same feel as when everything is open. Have you considered a trip to the Reading Terminal Market instead?
