My son may be attending East Stroudsburg University and will not be able to bring his car until Junior year.

Does anyone know of public transportation from East Stroudsburg to either the Philadelphia, Pa area or Cherry Hill, NJ?

Two methods are possible, but one is probably more trouble than it%26#39;s worth. You can take Greyhound to Philadelphia via Eason, or you can go to New York City on Martz and then either Greyhound or Amtrak to Philadelphia. I wouldn%26#39;t suggest going through NYC - that%26#39;s a long haul.

Can%26#39;t help as we are from Harrisburg, PA, but you might want to consider leasing off-campus parking. Our son is an incoming Freshman in the Fall and we are going to allow him to take his car for the 2nd semester as long as he settles in and does well academically during the 1st semester. There%26#39;s no prohibition against having a car off campus, they just will not issue a campus parking sticker until you have Jr. standing.

Did you find out about transportation back and forth from east stroudsberg to cherry hill area. I may actually be commuting myself?

the only way I know is a greyhound bus that goes down rt 611 along the Delaware river that takes forever. Tell him to find a cute chick from Philly with a car and pick him up at the bridge
