Has anyone seen or had any experience with this motel? Would love to hear something about it. Thanks.
Forest Hill Inn in Hazelton, PA
It%26#39;s an older motel. We stayed there annually between 1997 and 2002 when we decided to try the Hampton Inn up the street. The staff is friendly and the rates are really good, but it%26#39;s old and hard to compete with the Hampton Inn and the Fairfield Inn, both of which are very nice. They have free coffee and donuts in the morning and I saw a sign that they now have some type of microwave/refrigerator unit in all rooms. Hope this helps.

Since I made my inquiry, above, I stayed at this facility twice--once going up and once coming back down--in August, 2007. I liked it. I found it to be a good value. They are pet friendly and the surroundings are very pleasant.
I stayed at the Forest Hill Inn on October 7. The room was clean. Room had microwave and fridge, clock radio. Rooms on this stretch of I-81 (north to Scranton) can get expensive, so at $65.49 including tax, this was OK.
I grabbed a couple of donuts on the way out for my ride.
Well, clean is good. And that price...definitely good. Thanks for the info for future reference.
