My husband just got this weekend off! we want to take our 9 yr. old son,and 21 mo. daughter to Lancaster for the first time.We need accomodations that will allow us to put her crib in a seperate bedroom/area so we don%26#39;t wake her when she goes to bed at 7;30 pm.I HAVE A PORTABLE CRIB.So, a standard hotel room won%26#39;t work.I%26#39;d prefer a cottage rental,working farm,or private bath b %26amp; b.I;ve been looking 3 hours!! What is the best way to find a vacancy for 10/6 %26amp; 10/7/07 ? Please help me.I tried google,but not popping up reservations.

Have you tried www.padutchcountry.com? This is the web site for the area. Click on lodging and see what you get. I just looked in my Lancaster County book and found Greystone Manor B%26amp;B in Bird-in-Hand. Go to www.greystonemanor.com.

I don%26#39;t know if you found anything yet. But I just realized that this is Columbus Day week-end. THE WORST WEEK-END to try for a room. But God knows. Again keep me posted and if it works out let us know how you liked it.
